Bottle. Clear straw color with a small white head. A couple of chunks of something dropped into my glass, though, which makes me a bit nervous. Light grain, corn, and some hop presence in the aroma. Taste is sweeter with a slight crisp finish. Light bodied and enjoyable, but what the fuck were those chunks?

Poured into a Longboard Lager pint glass. Color is sort of a bright gold/yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is light and is mostly light grain with some citrus. Flavor is light and malty with almost a wheat flavor and finishes with a light citrus/hop bitterness. Palate is light bodied with a crisp dry finish. Overall this is very mild flavored as one would expect from a lager, but is unique enough to stand out and is very refreshing.

Nickls (2617) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bottle. Slightly chill hazed, pee lemon yellow color. Light sweetness in the aroma, and some grassy hops. Grassy hops and some lemon zest impart some bitterness and a freshness, but very tame overall. Light, not that bad.

Poured yellow with a thin white head. Aroma has pale malts and spices. Taste has pale malts, spices, and some grain. Almost tastes like rye. Not bad.

Bottle (thanks Dobby!), pours clear yellow w/ moderate foamy head, aroma is grainy and corny w/ some light hop, flavor is same graininess, heavy fermented adjunct, with very light bitterness on finish, fair, much better on the beach I’m sure

polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2011
Bottle. Aroma has notes of lemon citrus hops and cereal malts. Pale byellow straw hue with. An average white foamy head that mostly diminished and left decent lace. Lightly sweet and bitter. Palate is light bodied and watry average. Overall a good lager.

Tap. Pour is clear, light gold, no head to speak of. Nose isn’t really there, as it warms I get some faint citrus and toffee notes. Taste is much the same, on the sweet side, very little hop character, light body. Clean finish.

mile (4069) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 11, 2011
Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light, malty and sweetish aroma, faint citrus hoppyness. Body is light, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint hoppyness. Finish is short, malty and lightly sweetish. Watery/thin-bodied lager.

Bottle gift of Thomas
Deep blond color; medium sized head. There is a reasonable aroma of malt. The mouthfeel is dry in the front, a bit sweeter later, with light malt flavor and correct bitterness. Although simple, it doesn’t have the flaws or bad corn flavors of many other Lagers.
