I had not had this beer for a couple of years and remember it being much better. Really nothing of interest here- no flavor profiles jumped out at me. Was super light and very carbonated. Might as well not have been drinking craft beer. Might put some on ice for my next cookout in the heat of the summer, but that is the only way I would drink it. beernbourbon (1592) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Tap. Pour is rich golden color with a small white head. Aroma is light malt, light hop, and faint spice. Flavor is very classic lager with light cookie malt and faint floral hops. Full bodied for style and very tasty. lightly grassy and tart in finish. ThaJuggernaut (309) - Washington, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Good beer. Has a nice lager taste with good head. Pours great and has a good aroma to it. Metalchopz (3384) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 26, 2011
Originally rated June 2010. Purchased a 6-pack of this on my way to Lynchburg (from Nashville). My first Hawaii brew (never thought I would have one). Pours a pale golden colour with a decent white frothy head and nice weblike lacing. Tiny bubble carbonation with a beautiful nose of spices (mostly from the hop they use). Also, aromas of biscuit malt and bread. Smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel with a little stickiness. Nicely balanced taste with the cereal malt and the spicy malt. Not super powerful (as this is a beer for warm weather) but quite surprising to have all that scent and flavour in just a plain lager from a State that is not known to brew beer. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 25, 2011
From a bottle (16:40 Oregon Brewery, DEC 02 10) Poured into a lager style glass. Color is very light, with a white head, and carbonation can be viewed. Lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is yeasty, like dough. Flavor is also that of yeast and malt, very plain. This is a very smooth and light beer, average carbonation, and finishes abruptly. Overall not a bad beer to enjoy during the summer. Cold right out of the bottle masks aroma and flavor making it a little smoother and easier to drink.

Great beer! Didn’t have high hopes coming from a Hawaiian beer but surprisingly a great beer! thicksuds (449) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Not a bad beer, very strong lemon and citrus flavor that comes off unnatural IMO, a bit too much, nice yeast flavor though, good lighter beer for the summer, actually reminds me of Sam Summer. culchiem (3976) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 16, 2011
Bottle. Pale golden colour with no head. Aroma has notes of spice and sweet malt. Flavour is a nice mix of fruit, malt with some hop to tone it down. Palate is soft sweet MaxxDaddy (415) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 11, 2011
On tap at Cronies Bar and Grill. Pours clear yellow/gold with thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, kind of corny. Taste is straight pale lager, a faint corny sweetness with a light bitterness. Thinnish mouthfeel with lingering bready malt finish. Nothing great here. delnoche (516) - Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA - JAN 9, 2011
Draught served in a chilled mug. Clear straw with no head. Aroma and flavor are a good balance of sweet malt and bitter hops. Nothing spectacular about this one but it makes a decent session brew.
