Pretty refreshing beer. Island style lager is nice with hops that are slightly spicy. Very drinkable and serves its purpose as an island lager.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice clear light gold with an above average white foamy head. Aroma of wheat and straw. Tastes of wheat, some citrus and mild floral hops. Well above average lager.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale light golden with a light head. Smells and tastes similar to Miller Lite, just slightly more hoppy, seems like rice, maybe itís just that smooth. If Miller Lite tasted like this I would drink it =p

Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is very malty with some spices and mild hops. Flavor is very sweet, malty, and floral. The finish is a little dry with sweetness lingering on your tongue.

The flavor i find to be the standard lager. It has some wheat notes in the malt and light on the hops. Aroma has some grains and a little grassy on the nose. Pours a pale golden color with a nice small long lasting white head. It has a solid amount of lacing and a bit high on the carbonation. The finish is very clean and crisp. There is a small amount of hops in the finish. Itís not bad for what it is. If your into a mindless session on a hot summer day this might be a good choice. This one is the first thing I have tried from these guys so I look forward to trying something else.

I have been putting off this rating for a long time - "just do it man...get your Hawaii tick...just a few more states before you get all 50!" - am I really that much of a nerd that I will try a beer I know I wonít like just to get a state tick? - unfortunately, yes I am - anyway, not much separates this from the Heinekens of the world - unimpressive, bland malt sweetness and some dry floral hop bitterness - some noticeable root plant/vegetal character in the background - not offensive or anything, but it is both flawed and bland.

Faint grain and mild floral aroma. Pale golden, thin white head and mild lacing. Grain and hop floral aroma. Full bodied with lite bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 Consumed on August 12, 2010 from a 22 ounce bottle purchased at Safeway in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Slighty cloudy gold color, small white head, sweet/sour aroma, clean, light, bittersweet flavor the sweetness being more prominent. Somewhat along the lines of Primo, only better.

On tap. Clear and yellow with a thick white head. Light malt aroma and very light herbal hop scent. Flavor is mildly sweet bready malt with just a touch of hop bitterness. Light body with active carbonation and a crisp clean finish. Decent session beer.
