Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Pretty Standard Beer. name drew me to it. wanted a lighter change. aroma was light, a little bready with light malt and almost no hop character. Nice golden color. Taste was clean with bread, light malt, some bitterness. Palate was crisp with good carbonation. Can put a few of these away in a sitting,(but not too often) Somewhat refreshing. Overall i would not go out of my way to get it, but would drink it if someone else had it around or purchased it.

Das Kona Longboard Island Lager aus Hawaii, USA. Sehr schicke Flaschenforn, Etikett vermittelt Urlaubsfeeling.

355ml can (4.6%) shared with Stuartyboy at home on 2 Dec 2017, from M & S Simply Food, Glasgow Central Station (bb 11 Jul 2018): pale malty, grain aroma, pale golden with a very thin short-lived head, pale malty, grain flavour, gentle fizz.

This is a beer to have very, very cold. It goes down smooth and is refreshing. But, as it warms up in the glass, there is a faint unpleasant funky aroma. The taste is still okay, but the nose gets worse as the temperature rises. For that reason I rate it fairly low. However, if you are going to chug it while it is freezing cold, it is EXCELLENT.

When I think of a cold lager, this beer hits every aspect of that and more. The perfect description of a lager. Very smooth and I would suggest this beer to anyone who fancies themselves as a lager lover. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not a complicated brew. Pretty light and goes down easily. Probably could polish off a couple of bottles watching sports on tv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into goblet. Unremarkable in most ways. Mild bitterness with some biscuit notes. Ok but nothing to return to. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 bottle poured into a pint glass. This beer somehow found its way into my house. It looks good in the glass, but taste is disappointing. Not a big lager fan. This is not a beer to seek out and buy in my opinion.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 One of the nicer lagers I have had. Slightly hazy. Sweet malt aroma and taste, but not sickly or artificial sweet. Easy summer day drinking.
