12 oz bottle from Bev4less. Pours an opaque black color with a small khaki head. The aroma is rich with coffee and a bit of mocha. The flavor is all coffee and nothing but coffee. The mouthfeel is medium malty. The finish is short with lingering coffee. Overall: As a coffee lover this beer really appealed to me, this despite its being rather one-dimensional. Recommended. jkaiser (279) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2008
This was beer number 22 for me at beerfest. It was rich and smooth. Other than that, I can’t remember. Haslinger (929) - The World of Beer, Texas, USA - OCT 8, 2008
thanks kegbear. Very cool bottle with a Hawaiian word and translation under the cap. Aroma is dominated by the coffee but smells incredibly smooth. The taste is definite coffee but there is also a nice roasted taste with some malt finish. Very solid porter. Would buy again brokephibroke (315) - Mead, Colorado, USA - OCT 7, 2008
pours opague black with a significant tan head. Malty. coffee aroma. Definate coffee flavor, strong and stale. Also sweet. Palate is thin, but foam on the stash, which is a plus!

Pours black from 12 oz bottle, forming little to no foamy head, aroma of chocolates, coffee beans and coconut oil. Flavour much of the same, roasted malts present along with a particular hop balance. Pretty well made, however, the draft version I had at the recent WBF in Durham NC, seemed thicker, richer and had a good size brown foamy head. All in all, delicious and easily quaffable. afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Bottle courtesy of Sebletitje. Pours a clear dark brown with a one finger light tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of coffee and not much else. Taste is coffee and light roasted malt. Medium thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Not very complex but I like coffee and find this beer to be quite tasty. nbutler11 (1267) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2008
Pours black from the bottle with a fizzy brown head that quickly dissapates. Smells and tastes of sugary coffee, faint cocoa, and toasted malts. Predominantly sweet for a porter, but with a warm alcohol finish that helps distinguish it from others in the style. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 2, 2008
Draft from Northern Virginia BrewFest. Pours a very dark black color with a deep tan head. Aroma is pure coffee. Flavor is, well, coffee with notes of chocolate. Not as roasty as some coffee beers can be, but this is apparently a porter and not a stout, that could explain it. Quite wonderful. shrubber85 (11397) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 1, 2008
Bottle. Strong coffee and dark chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown color - tons of bubbles clinging to side of glass. Thick dark chocolate and coffee malt flavor - light kiss of hops in the finish. Excellent.
