Black pour with a medium tan head. Coffee aroma and a deep roasted coffee taste, very malty. Nice Kona tang. Very enjoyable. sliffy (2040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2008
Bottle shared by Kristine: Pours black with a tan head. Aroma, coffee, chocolate, nice roasted notes, some fruits. Flavor, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, an earthy/roasty bitterness. Pretty solid. estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 11, 2008
Draft. Black body, small tan head, roasty nose. Intense flavors, overly burnt, somewhat sweet. Guinness4Duff (515) - Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA - APR 11, 2008
Pours a dark black color with a thick brown head. Aroma has a mild roast and strong sweet presence. Flavor is a nice balance of chocolate and coffee. Seems a little light for a porter, but not bad. AgentSteve (1647) - SF Bay Area, California, USA - APR 10, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2008 This one is all about the coffee. Pours a thin rootbeer color with a light head. Nose is malty and roasty, flavor is heavilly coffee. Not bad, but you better like coffe if you want this one. RE-RATE had on tap at Mission Pizza, and totally different experience. Very plum and summer fruit forward with some toasted malt influence. The finish was a bit dry, but the sweetness hung around a while.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2008 On tap for $2.00, bargain. Pours like a brown ale, with a thin head. Smell of raosted coffee, The tast of roasted malt and coffee, A little watery for a porter. Ibrew2or3 (8814) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 4, 2008
Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours deep dark brown with weak head. I get faint roastiness in the nose as well as mild musty leather oxidation and a faint coffee note. Meek aroma really. The taste has a well blended coffee and roasted malts before mild oxidation disrupts the experience a bit. The taste ends mildly roasty and with smooth mild coffee. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - APR 3, 2008
Bottle at Burger Bar, Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas. Pours dark brown, almost black with clear ruby edges and a tight beige head. Light coffee, earth and light roast in the nose. Smooth dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, a perceived hint of mint, pleasant caramel sweetness, moderate balancing hop character. Medium/light bodied with moderate, somewhat lively fine-beaded carbonation. Nice. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 1, 2008
Black with a nice, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and weak notes of a sweetish coffee. The flavour has notes of roasted malt and weak notes of bitter coffee and sweet licorice. It’s not a very powerful porter, but quite OK. Thank you Tom/After4ever! dchmela (3084) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 24, 2008
Pours a watery black with a thin tan head. Roasted grain and coffee aroma. Taste is roasted grain, chocolate malt and coffee. Very nice porter with lots great taste. I found it to be a great after easter dinner drink instead of coffee.
