Bottled 11/29/11...let’s be honest here, in New Hampshire. Smells like dark roast iced coffee with some chocolate infused as well. Oily looking dark brown beer. Sweet coffee and toffee...just what one expects from a domestic porter. The coffee content assists the hopping in creating a great bitter background and finish. Thick and heavy, this may not be the best brew for a Hawaiian vacation. But winters in NH....
Smooth. Coffee taste is good. Color is great. After a while ends up being a little too sweet for me.

Very nice, I like it a lot. I love porters, and this is a pretty nice one.
Probably could use more of an initial appearance and aroma.
It's nice to experience coffee notes from Hawaii.

355ml bottle pours a dark brown color with a finger of light beige head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is a light roasted grain and coffee bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, a well crafted porter that is balanced and tasty. drmet (1007) - GERMANY - JUL 18, 2017

12oz bottle. Deep brown with deep orange highlights and a thin beige head that leavds good lacing. Big coffee nose, chocolatey and fudgey, caramel. Taste - bold coffee with chocolate/cocoa notes. A trace of minerals and coffee/dark roast acidity. Medium body. Coffee aftertaste. Just a solid coffee porter. rikstar (2605) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 13, 2017
