From notes: Poured deep red-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Coffee aroma, with perhaps a bit of a nutty note. Medium-body. Light, but with a nice depth to it. Flavor of coffee, with some yeast mixed in. Pleasant bloom of black coffee in the slightly dry finish.

Smooth. Coffee taste is good. Color is great. After a while ends up being a little too sweet for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice, I like it a lot. I love porters, and this is a pretty nice one. Probably could use more of an initial appearance and aroma. It's nice to experience coffee notes from Hawaii. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle pours a dark brown color with a finger of light beige head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is a light roasted grain and coffee bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, a well crafted porter that is balanced and tasty.
