Bottle: Golden colored pour with medium sized white head. Hoppy, citrus, fruity nose. Malty, sweet citrusy finish. Not too bad. nearbeer (5662) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 25, 2008
12 oz, packaged on May 30, 2008. Clear golden with a small lasting spit above. Aroma is light stale wheat and a hint of catspray. Flavor is stale wheat, cardboard, slight citronella oil, and an acidic fruit juice. Tastes like an under-ripe, bitterish grapefruit-lemon juice mix. Light body is smooth, sort of oily and astringently dry. pumpmaster (1446) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2008
12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Fort Lauderdale, FL for $1.99 Nothing special. DTM (870) - Vacaville, California, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Bottle from Timfoolery. Poured a cloudy yellow with a white head that almost disappered instantly. Had a strange smell to it of grain and yeast. I know they were going for passion fruit, but all I tasted was a wierd fruit flavor. Good thing its a limited release and not much more of this will be made. Guess you can’t do all varieties well. A skunky dissapointment in this wheat ale from Kona. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest.

Golden witht hin white head. Aroma of wheat, lightly fruity.
Taste is fizzy , wheat and light notes of passion fruit, citrus, givng the beer a nice sweet taste.
Good, clean and refreshing. Not the best wheat out there, wish they had made the passion fruit a little more present. BallyLoser (136) - Redmond, Washington, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Sweet aroma, light taste. Clear amber colour. Light taste of passion fruit. Clean finish. Hank1980 (966) - Athens, Georgia, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of passion fruit, citrus, malt. Taste is also of passion fruit, with yeast and grain. I didn’t think the passion fruit is overwhelming, though I may be in the minority. I thought the fruit was as subtle as passion fruit could be, though I’d agree it wasn’t particularly "wheaty". Hazy light gold pour with a small foamy white head. Sweet fruity aroma with just a hint of yeast and grain. Sweet fake fruity flavor as well, which masks any wheat beer properties I was hoping to find. Refreshing enough, but just average. Hangover (1152) - oxford, Georgia, USA - JUL 15, 2008
Clear, golden pour with a thin white head and lots of active carbonation streamers. Aroma has some light honey, citrus (orange) and what I assume is passion fruit. Taste is mostly passion fruit. None of the banana, clove, or any esters I would associate with a wheat. For what it is, a passion fruit flavored beer, it’s OK. On tap I bet it would be a bit creamier and probably rate a couple points higher. Good enough.
