Tap. A mild to light wheat beer with a foggy yellow body and a very clean finish. A white bubbly head was there as well. hayduke (5204) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 19, 2007
From a bottle our of a $6.90 six pack purchased in Ashland, Oregon this poured a clear golden yellow with a nice white head and minimal lacing. Nose of grainy and rich with citrus. Mouthfeel light but refreshing. Flavor somewhat sweet and not much finish. Refreshing to drink, however, and a decent wheat. ChillCoat (1029) - Concord, California, USA - JUL 15, 2007
Bottle. Very clear and the faintest color of yellow imaginable. White wisps but no real head. Grainy and somewhat peppery aroma. Very grainy flavor with a tinge of fruitiness and a bit of spice. Very dry. talon1117 (1152) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Pours clear and golden with a small, white, fizzy head which disappates quickly. Nose is strange; grains, a light fruity note and an offputting body odor note (maybe that’s how passion fruit smells?) Flavor is much of the same; grainy, lightly fruity, and the same offputting note. Palate is light, very lively, watery, and crisp. Finishes short with light fruit and a skunk note. Boring and a bit offputting. Not the best offering from this brewery. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2011 7/1/2007pale yellow pour...very light wheat aroma dominated by fruit. flavor is mostly passion fruit with wheat added. it’s a very interesting flavor since it is not fake or syrupy.

12oz bottle. Pale straw colored with a thin film of white head. Faint wheaty spice underneath a musky earthen passion fruit character in the aroma. Delicate wheat flavors barely peer through a dominant earthen citrus component. Somewhat grainy in the finish with acetic tones. Mouthfeel is very light, somewhat watery. Another local beer I sampled on my trip to Hawaii. It was a somewhat cloudy gold with a very small, short-lived white head. The aroma was very wheaty, with some yeast, grainy hops, and malt; also light passion fruit tones. The taste was very sweet and wheaty, with some underlying sourness and really noticeable and good passion fruit flavoring. It was a wet and full beer with very low carbonation and fizzyness. Unique and interesting with the passion fruit touch, but still, a mostly unexciting beer. Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 16, 2007
12 oz bottle. Aroma is stale wheat and some fruit. Hazy gold body with white disipating head. Has a refreshing sweet and sour citrus flavor that isn’t bad. Leaves friuty aftertaste like sour lemon on the palate. Not bad but have had lot worse. Naven (1000) - Poway, California, USA - JUN 15, 2007
Well, I took a chance on this one. It was a hot day, and I wanted a nice summer beer to drink whilst grilling my burgers. This beer pours a really light golden color. Aroma is really strong on the passion fruit. Body is really weak, and the wheat flavor is really light. Im actually surprised this is 5.4%. It tastes like it’s a 4% beer. Too watery, too light, and ultimately, too boring. Not terrible, but nothing really stands out. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - JUN 14, 2007
Tasted from bottle. Aroma is a blend of sweet and sour malt forward, with a slight malt aroma and some citrusy tones that may be either unfermentables or hop flavors. Beer is a straw gold with a white, low-retained head. Flavor has a very grainy complexity, with a slightly sour, dry taste, similar to some dry ciders I’ve had, more so than other american wheats. Finish is clean, with no residual sweetness or bittering. Body is medium, with a low carb texture. Overall, the beer is easy drinking, but just not exciting enough for my tastes. It’s complex, as I expected, but the flavors in that complexity just don’t stand out with any deliciousness.
