Morkt Hvidtol is kind of a cross between a beer and a "malz", the German non-alcoholic brew, or Israel’s Birah Schorah. It is very sweet and raisiny, but has a hint of wheat and a hint of cream in the flavour. A nice dessert beer when something high-octane doesn’t suit.
33 cl bottle. Shared. Dark amber colour with a thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate and faint liquorice. Taste is sweet. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Short sweet finish with caramel malts and sugars. Not the biggest beer experience. However, very enjoyable with my rice pudding/ risengrød. Extra credits for the sentimental value. I used to have this as a boy for Christmas. Girlfriend says: It tastes like cheap cola. She might be right. Better than other low alcohol beers trying to mimic "real" beers. zvikar (6087) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - OCT 23, 2016

Good aroma of wort in the fragrance. The taste is burnt, a little sweet and malty. Slightly bitter occupying the upper part of the mouth briefly. Intresting good beer. But no thirst quencher like. Flaske. farven er meget mørk brun til sort. Skumkronen er beigefarvet og forsvinder hurtigt. Aroma og smag er malt, farin og let lakrids. Lettere vandet. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2015
Malty, sweet caramel flavor with a lengthy sweetness. The classic Traditional ale that everyone in Denmark knows and loves. Pyrmir (5984) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 25, 2015
330 ml bottle at a hostel in Frederiksvaerk. From the bottle. Very sweet, liquorice, bread, sugar, more sweet notes, lactose etc. Horrible. DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 23, 2015
[4/29/15] Bottle at the AirBnB apartment in Copenhagen. Cola brown color. Sugary malt aroma with caramel, licorice and toast. Sweet flavor with caramel, licorice, a bit of toast. Very light-bodied, kinda fizzy and sticky. Not my thing. visionthing (5304) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 25, 2015
33cl bottle from Føtex, Fredrikshavn. Pours clear dark brow with a small, tan head. Malty and bready with notes of wort, caramel, rye and fermented, dried fruits. Sweet and malty with some reminiscence of Norwegian "vørterøl". Too sweet for enjoying alone, but quite pleasant. Certainly interesting enough.
