COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bottom-fermented dark beer speciality, which is manufactured in traditional Bavarian brewing procedure.

Had this in Berlin. It pours dark brown with an off white head. It has nutty aroma with hints of chocolate aND a hint of floral. The floral component comes out more in the flavor but the roast and chocolate are still dominate.

Copenhagen 18/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Black (of course) label with both two roaring lions, a giant heraldic shield and a idyllic looking small German town. In gold. Pours dark reddish brown with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is not very strong but of brown sugar, roasted malts, cocoa and caramel. Fairly sweet. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is well balanced between medium sweetness and medium bitterness. Bitterness lingering in the aftertaste. Nice enough dunkel without being outstanding.
