COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bottom-fermented dark beer speciality, which is manufactured in traditional Bavarian brewing procedure.

Dark crimson beer with a foamy nice head, just goes away too fast. Aroma of dark roasted malts, hint of coffee and chocolate. Metallic notes. Medium carbonation, quite light mouthfeel. A bit watery feeling, same with the taste. Malts, dark chocolate, a bit metallic taste. This is an okay beer but somehow a bit too much on the light side.

Dyp brun farge med litt kremet hvitt skum. Lukter av karamellmalt, og litt kakao. Mild i smak og ganske mye kullsyre. Lett bittersøt avslutning.

W aromacie słodowo, chlebowo, nieco słabej kawy. W wyglądzie brąz wpadający w czerń, konkretna kremowa piana. W smaku ciemny chleb, skórki chlebowe, zboża. Ciało dość konkretne, syte, lekka łodygowa goryczka, pijalne. Ogólnie jednak niewiele się dzieje, przeciętny dunkel.

50cl bottle purchased @ Tante Emma Laden. Robe brun claire avec une belle mousse. Bière assez légère avec des notes de caramel. Les arômes sont peu développés.

Draft pour at the source. The beer is a clear brown with a khaki head of foam. The aroma has chocolate and earthy toffee. Moderately sweet. Medium body and medium carbonation. Good dunkel.

Very enjoyable dunkel, lots of nice malty sweetness to the beer. Kind of caramel notes.

On tap at the hotel bar. Deep brown mahogany pour with foamy off white head. Aroma is nutty, very roasty, light metallic notes. Taste is nutty, roasty, nice light maltiness. Palate is light bodied, dry, with good carbonation, maybe a tad overcarbed. Definitely a dumbed down dunkel if there is one, but pretty easy drinking nonetheless.
