Ar: Peach skin and unripe banana; lots of black pepper, a bit of clove. Ap: Golden and hazy; medium off-white head with moderate-poor retention, settling into a splotch of foam with a chunky trailing ring on the glass sides, almost melting in appearance. T: Round banana and peach skins; light doughy malt character, soft; a bit of black pepper and clove; low sweetness; just a hair of bitterness, with no accompanying hop flavor; raw dough on the finish. P: Light body with high, but very soft, carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: A lighter in flavor, but still firmly in-style German hefeweizen; malt character is surprisingly soft and has a great note of raw bread; lush despite its lightness. biilz (157) - SPAIN - OCT 11, 2017
Standard German weissbier which pours a slightly lighter colour than most weiss. Lots of carbonation and a large off white head which soon dissipates. Usual banana, clove and bubblegum flavours with a slightly lemon / citrus overtones. Long aftertaste and smooth on the palate. Recommended. Bacchus66 (875) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 30, 2017

My favorite Hefeweizen from the bottle. König Ludwig = Prinzregent Luitpold. Has all the features a Hefeweizen should have: Opaque yellow-golden, big, lasting head, flavors of grain, yeast and a tender note of banana. Perfection! cattaneopapa (417) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2017
500ml bottle from LCBO. 5.5% alc./vol. Pours a clear golden colour with four fingers of white head. Aromas of bread and bananas. Taste matches the aroma. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Much lighter tasting than your usual weisse. Not bad at all. simontomlinson (556) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2017
Creamy white head stayed on a hazy orange coloured body.

Aroma: yeast and sour dough profile. Wet grains, ripe bananas, spices. Taste is faint lemon zest, spicy coriander, bananas, sour dough. Medium-light body, good carbonation. Refreshing, above average weizen. Freaky_tiki (1327) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 10, 2017
Bottle from LCBO. I was at a local brewpub -- Eastbound Brewing -- last night & made the mistake of ordering their bland hefe. This bottle comes as a relief. Beautiful pour, with a hazy egg yolk yellow with a two finger creamy cap on top. Rich wheat, smooth banana notes, very subtle clove. Carbonation is a tad flaccid. Smooth hot summer session starter.
