500ml bottle at Ship & Mitre April Fest 08. Gold with lasting off white head. A little bready, but good in the mouth, some lemon, hop, carbonation tingle on finish. Bit metallic, some lemon and lime. Fine pilsner.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a smiall white head. The aroma is a corn malt and metallic. The taste is a sweet malt with a clean finish. A decent pils from koning.

pale gold pour with a thin later of white froth. german hop scent that’s slightly funky. thin on the palate but i was really expecting those hops to shine. not so much though, mainly just grass and cardboard. this would be a good beer after mowing lawns all day long.

A solid pilsener i would definitely try again i wouldn’t say the bitterness is harsh on this like some others are saying maybe the first taste or two but its slight ..... a little sweet and smooth going down .... don’t worry about this one its a good bet cheers

Classic is right. Pours a straw color with some carbonation and almost no head. Nose is salty , grassy, sour, and a tad but skunky. Taste is salty and super bitter. Very tradition but somewhat hard to drink because of the excessive bitterness.

This is another wonderful German pilsner. It’s deep gold with a medium, creamy white head that steadily shrinks to a thin, permanent top. The aroma is a solid, full-bodied pilsner with a lot of sweet grain, hay, herbal hops. It’s fruity and aromatic. The taste is nice fruity grain, honey, apple, a light but persistent pein-herb flavour, grass, a light fruity-honey sweetness dominated by the hop flavour and bitterness. Compared to Bitburger, the grain flavour is weaker, with more of an apple quality, and the herb character is about the same in strength but the flavour is different.

Cask at Zeitgeist @ The Jolly Gardener. Aroma of grass, spice, malt and metal. Pours a golden coloured beer with a small white head and some carbonation. Taste is grassy with vanilla has a tangy sweet after taste. OK, but not all that.

0.5l can. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is weird. It’s a mix of malt and hops, but reminds me of plastic. Not bad, just weird. Palate is fizzy and watery, but a little oily. The taste is very bitter, but also has a weird flavour to it, that would I put with the weird plastic flavour. I wonder if this is a bad batch? It went away after a few sips though, and the remaining flavour was quite nice.
