3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2015 Poured from a 11.2 ounce bottle (yah, where’d that .8 ounce go?) into a pilsner glass with a chipped foot, by the way. This has become a favorite bier of mein with a handful of sourdough pretzels and a dab of dark ground mustard. A true quencher o’ thirst, this.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 500 ml can, so no light skunkiness. Good aroma typical of pilseners - pils malts, grassy hops, a touch of spice. Clear, bright gold with highly visible bubbles, white, bubbly head, receding quickly. The bright gold, nice level of carb bubbles topped by the white head is a great looking pils. The mouth feel is a bit thin, but that is expected. Initial taste is the spicy/grassy hops, balanced by malty sweetness, with a nice, clean bitter finish with just the right amount of bite. This is a wonderfully refreshing beer. A great pilsner.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lovely sharp dry hops coming through. Actually the flavor as whole is pretty good. Far too carbonated though but a very fine macro larger for sure. Refreshing, tasty and grown up.

Draft @ Verklicker, Langeoog. Golden with a beautiful head and lots of lacing. Aroma is earthy, grainy, floral hops and a touch of skunk. Taste follows aroma. Strong carbonation. Crisp and clean. Refreshing after tasting a handful of subpar wines. Solid German Pils.

Here we have a real German Pilsener (Pilsner?). It has great flavor, with lots of earthy grainy qualities to it.
