Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch herb, grasig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack startet bitter hopfig, grasig.

Leighton (22821) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising during day 3 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2015. Pours perfectly clear pale yellow with a frothy, white head. Nice and drinkable, with sugary pale cereal, biscuits, mellow bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, simple, with lightly toasted cereal, hay. Nice one.

Leckeres Aroma mit leicht wässrigem Beigeschmack prägen dieses Bier.Die Blume hält lange an und bleibt stabil. Insgesamt durchschnittlich. Test vom 12.9.2004 Noten: 14,9,8,7,7,8 - 8,55

fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2008
Blond color. Poor head. It’s a lean and clean Pilsner, quite dry and bitter, balanced, but naturally missing any excitement. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, maybe with pizza or a sandwich…

500mL can - pours light yellow into pint glass. Grassy hops flavour with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not a fan.

harrisoni (19548) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2008
500ml bottle at Ship & Mitre April Fest 08. Gold with lasting off white head. A little bready, but good in the mouth, some lemon, hop, carbonation tingle on finish. Bit metallic, some lemon and lime. Fine pilsner.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2005 A tough beer to rate. It runs almost directly average to its style. It has a light-to-moderate bitterness, some grassy-herbal hop notes and faint bready malts, both in flavour and aroma. It’s clean, slightly erring to the dry side in the finish. It’s not especially assertive, but nor is it especially mellow. It doesn’t seem to have a particular niche to my tastes.
