UPDATED: JUL 24, 2005 A tough beer to rate. It runs almost directly average to its style. It has a light-to-moderate bitterness, some grassy-herbal hop notes and faint bready malts, both in flavour and aroma. It’s clean, slightly erring to the dry side in the finish. It’s not especially assertive, but nor is it especially mellow. It doesn’t seem to have a particular niche to my tastes.

TBone (17565) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 3, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2004 Bottled
Lager color, very small white head. Slightly skunked hoppy aroma. Malty, hoppy, with sweet tones. Medium-bodied, good pilsener with bitter finish. (5/2/7/3/10 2.7)
Re-rate, bottled (BB 06/2006)
Golden color, quickly vanishing white head. Mild plastic hop aroma. Fruity, sweet malts and weak bitterness in aftertaste. Quite boring pilsener, a bit like Budvar. (3/2/4/2/8 1.9)

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2011
Can. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, white head. The aroma is better when drinking it in Germany, but still decent, with pale malts, fruity and grassy hops and some hay. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with pale malts and hay in the back, finishing mostly bitter. Medium body. A decent beer I’ll try to remember to rerate fresh in Germany some day. 110516

Can: Clear yellow with full white head. Malty/corn aroma. Taste of Malts & hops. Light thin but fresh & crisp taste. Enjoyable pils!

Quite clean, but a bit cardboardy. Fizzy carbonation. Dull.

Bottle. Yellow colour, small white head. Flavour is malty with some hoppiness. Full mouthfeel for a pils.

50cl can @ home while entering my ratings from CBC 2013. Clear golden color, medium to full sized white to off-white head. Aroma is moderately malty, medium grainy, lightly bread. Taste malts, lightly grainy, hayish, nicely bitter. Medium carbonation, ok body. Nice pilsener on this warm sunny day.

bhensonb (15234) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 6, 2008
Bottle. Grain and grass aromas. Brassy color with a white head that went down leaving spotty lace. Near medium body with near creamy carbonation. Good dose of grassy hop, and the grain is not distressing. The finish is definitely bitter. Decent drink.

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2009
Bottle at Pfefferbed. Clear yellow - white head. Clear yellow - white head. Bitterness, zesty, citrus, white bread, light malty, nice hoppy, egg, hay. OK.
