Bottle in Seattle. Dissipating thick white head. Clear yellow gold body. Nose of grass, honey and grain. A bit of a premium lager feel, a touch more sweet and rich. Similar macro graininess to others in the portfolio. Grassy constant. Pretty good, all told. loscovar (655) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - SEP 17, 2017

A Pils is a Pils is a Pils, and so is this one. Quite popular in the region I'm coming from, so I might be a bit tired of it. Objectively it is a decent but standard Pils.

DATE: July 29, 2017... OCCASION: celebrating a beautiful summer Saturday and Will’s basketball team’s stunning OT upset... GLASSWARE: Konig-Pilsener pilsner... clear golden body, with traces of miniature bubbles augmenting quite a thick, foamy white head that stands fingers high... head settles to a half-finger blanket with reasonable consistency... some arches still remain above the beer line... noble hops are metallic, pingy, and as expected of a macro in this style... banana and bread malts are secondary to the Hallertau... not too abrupt or arresting... drinkable, slightly oily, with a quick whisk to the throat, where a comparatively longer finish is found... refreshing, almost to the consistency of water... the hops are not sharp, nor do they carve out a flavorful exchange... prognosis: another bland imported pilsner that at least doesn’t come in a green bottle... not the King of Pilsners by a long shot, it at least represents its style in a distant, discernible way...
