UPDATED: FEB 21, 2011 500ml can. A very good pilsener, very smooth mouthfeel and excellent taste of fresh lemony, springy hops, Der Koenig der Biere? Maybe not, but it beats the shit out of Budweiser.
12 oz bottle, I’ve also had this from a can and it was pretty good.
It pours a deep gold with a nice big white head.
One of the better smelling pilseners, this is the definition of a balanced traditional pilsener in the nose.
It is one of the more flavorful pilseners, it is nicely balanced, not the best flavor, but good.
It’s a great pilsener, maybe better out of the can too which is rare.

Poured golden color with a thin white head?
Grainy, malty, dusty, earthy notes.
Flavor has malts, grains, dust and minerals. Huge drinkability. rjplumer (1110) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 18, 2017
Light grain and bready aroma. Clear golden body with a fluffy white head that starts strong yet fades to a modest lacing. Light malty grain taste. Clean crisp body. Refreshing and very drinkable. sinte (582) - Udine, ITALY - JUL 31, 2017
Pale golden body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with some lacing; virtually no bubbles.
Moderate hoppy (herbal) and very light malty (grains) aroma.
Moderate bitter and light sweet flavour; long lasting finish with notes of bread.
Light-to-medium body with watery texture; average carbonation. Dacrza (996) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - JUL 29, 2017
DATE: July 29, 2017... OCCASION: celebrating a beautiful summer Saturday and Will’s basketball team’s stunning OT upset... GLASSWARE: Konig-Pilsener pilsner... clear golden body, with traces of miniature bubbles augmenting quite a thick, foamy white head that stands fingers high... head settles to a half-finger blanket with reasonable consistency... some arches still remain above the beer line... noble hops are metallic, pingy, and as expected of a macro in this style... banana and bread malts are secondary to the Hallertau... not too abrupt or arresting... drinkable, slightly oily, with a quick whisk to the throat, where a comparatively longer finish is found... refreshing, almost to the consistency of water... the hops are not sharp, nor do they carve out a flavorful exchange... prognosis: another bland imported pilsner that at least doesn’t come in a green bottle... not the King of Pilsners by a long shot, it at least represents its style in a distant, discernible way... 07-05-17 // draft, in a plastic cup at Volksparkstadion Hamburg. Clear golden pilsener, small white head. Definitely not the king of the beers. Grainy malty beer with medium bitter hop finish. Moretum (173) - Vienna, AUSTRIA, AUSTRIA - MAY 27, 2017
Crisp clean refreshing German pilsner with a very short finish. Classic benchmark for this style
