COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

MoritzF (9983) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 1, 2007
(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck!) Clear, yellow colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Light-sweet malty, slightly grainy and moderately citrousy and herbal hoppy aroma. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, almost smooth carbonation. Soft malty and quite herbal and bitter taste; dry-ish bitter-sweet finish with herbal hops; slightly papery malty aftertaste. Pretty bitter Pils, unfortunately not perfectly rounded.

Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2008
bottled and on tap. Clear golden colour, large and very creamy head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, grainy, solid malty background with lovely hoppy flavours. Medium carbonation. A very well-balanced Pils.

lusikka (7814) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2014
500 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours a clear pale yellow and a white head. Aroma of grains, wet cardboard, some mild grass and hay. Flavour of grainy malts, citrus, prominent grassy bitterness and mild sweetness. Light bodied and a grassy, slightly grainy finish. Refreshing but a bit thin.

Idiosynkrasie (7628) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 20, 2014
500ml bottle. Clear, yellowish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma with a strawy touch, cautious hoppy overtones with even more cautious lemon touch. Taste is grainy, minimally strawy, bitter hoppy overtones, a touch of lemon. OK Pilsener.

Bottle as WalderBräu Edelpils. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with an airy head and medium to crisp body. Aroma of hops and citrus fruits. Taste of hops, grass, citrus fruits and mild bread. Medium bitter finish with some grainy touch. Drinkable.

Recht einfaches Piwo ohne große Höhen. Herb, frisch, ausbalancierte Hopfung und etwas Getreide. Volkommen ok halt.

Bottle 50 cl from Quack-duck thanks ! A clear yellow beer with nice white head. Smell is hopy and grassy. A nice pilsener, with an interesting hops bouquet, nice bitterness, specially on aftertaste. The beer is medium malty and a bit sweet, good stuff.

Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts mild, moldy-malty, not very dry. Finish a bit metallically, still quite mild. Not convincing.

ganache (5961) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Bottle by 28.10.12. Sweet floral nose. Pale golden with a sudsy white head. Thin, smooth body with very light hop bitterness and a simple malt -- quite a nice balance achieved here. Very smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation, controlled and noble, indeed.

bartlebier (4032) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2014
0,2L draught [email protected] Bierdorf, Tettnanger Hopfenwandertag 2014. Poured as "Walderbräu Edelpils", I suspect this is the same, Tettnang-only pils? Considering its name and the venua I was expecting a bit more than the same cautious array of mass-compatible tastes: some grassy and lemon rind hops work against the leanest of clean pilsner malts, yet nothing too memorable happens.
