Clear, light-to-medium amber, off-white head, dense with a few loose bubbles. Sustained moderate carbonation.Fresh aroma; caramel, dusty hop flower, molasses. Flavor is moderately-sweet, with a strong molasses flavor. A bit nutty. Light bitterness. Very fresh beer (best before August!). Alcohol barely noticeable when cold, but more so upon warming (my bottle says 6.8%). Fits the style (not one I usually like) fairly well (but lighter in color, less sweet than some). Bottle 33cl from Quack-duck thanks a lot. A clear amber beer with low head. Smell is very malty and caramel like. Aroma is malty, nutty, toeasted, quite sweet, long aftertaste. Some grassy a,d metallic notes are there, a very pleasant beer. Ungstrup (38154) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2010
Bottled. An amber beer with some sediment floating around under a very thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and oxidation. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, but also an edge of oxidation. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2009

Light unclear light to medium amber orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly - fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, old vintage malt, bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dark berry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - flat.
33 cL bottle. Pours slight unclear golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is rosted malt, breadish and slight oldish. Sweet malt flavoured, light roasted and quite bitter. Lasting ocerripe fruit flavoured impression mixed with a pronounced bitterness. kappldav123 (6122) - GERMANY - JUL 19, 2008
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Not much foam, not very zippy. Tastes very sourish, somehow like soap. I miss the maltyness of a good dark bock. Not a good beer!
Big thanks to quack-duck for the bottle! pivnizub (10732) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2008
Bottle (Dank an Stefan !): Clear, deep golden to light amber coloured, slowly diminishing white head; toasted malt and straw in the aroma; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; nutty aromas in the robust sweet-bitter finish. A good one........ MoritzF (10025) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2008
(33cl bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Almost clear, dark amber colour with a short creamy white layer. Sweet toast-malty and nutty aroma with subtle fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste; almost dry, moderately sweet and slightly bitter and toasty finish with a noticeable but non-disturbing alcohol (18.08.08). Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2008
