COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Light yellow citron color. Typical white beer smell of fresh citrus with warm feeling. Taste is a bit watery, not as strong as some other white beers. More like alcohol-free white beers?

Bleekgele kleur. Citroenig aroma en idem smaak. Een beetje waterige smaak. Niks bijzonders.

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Cloudy pale golden, quickly dissolving white head and a sweet, peachy, bubblegu, aroma. Tastes a little tangy, a little sour, mainly sweetish. Light body, lively carbonation, lingering aftertaste. Good.

Gedronken bij La trappe, na de rondleiding, lijkt op hoegaarden wit en La trappe Puur, Fris, hoppig, wit/niet helder licht geel. Beetje waterig

Thomasalias (320) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 20, 2012
On tap at Beer Bier, Budapest. Hazy, pale yellow color with medium, creamy, white head. Citrus yeast aroma. It’s a simple witbier, but its yeast is as delicious as the german weissbier yeasts. A lot of citrus with some fruits, and the coriander makes it more special. Dry taste. Light body with slick texture and lively carbonation. Complex finish. This beer is a classic witbier. It has a rich citrus aroma with a smooth coriander flavour, but the yeast makes it more complex and delicious. Light, very drinkable.

Delightful white yellow beer with lots of bubbles which gently froth the surface. Strong aroma of bread and citrus flavours. Taste is low to moderate sweetness which is surprising.

Think this white beer is a bit too flat. Not to much flavor, low on carbon gas, low on foam. Just a normal shite beer.

Cloudy light yellow beer, with nice white head. Aroma some fresh lemon. Nice fresh witbier.
