COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Bottle @ Home. Pours light golden with a big white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, yeast, lemon, spicy. Taste is malt, wheat, yeast, citruss, light spicy. Thin body, lively carbonation. Quite refreshing, but not really my style. 130212

I had this one a long time ago. If I have the chance to drink it again, I’ll update this rating

Jovars, det här var väl ändå en relativt skön upplevelse, smaken är relativt kryddig med en liten ton av citrus. Smaken blir dock lite tunn i förlängningen, och det är ju lite synd.

"La Trappe Witte". Hazy golden color with a big thick head. Yeasty aroma and taste, and a bit watery finish. Medium carbonation. Not bad, but there are some better wheat beers.....

33cl bottle, labeled La Trappe Witte Trappist. Quite thick head that disappears into nothing after a few minutes. Cloudy, with a colour of pale honey. Fresh, citrus, wheat aroma. Taste is light and sweet with slightly dry and sour finish. Delicious and refreshing!

Really nice Wit. Up front maybe some citrus, lemon, maybe grapefruit. Backed with a yeasty profile. Nice and light in the mouth with medium carbonation.

0,33 l. bottle as "La Trappe Witte Trappist" from Netto supermarket in to a weizen glass. Hazy, pale golden colour with a big, white head, that quickly fades. Weak aromas of wheat, lemon and mandarins. Taste is light sweet with wheat, lemon, mandarins and unfortunately a sour note (bad bottle?). Light bodied with a thin texture. Short, slightly sour finish. Refreshing beer, but not in a standard worth the "trappist" label.
