COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The worlds first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summers day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

330 ml bottle. BBE 10/2012.
Pours a pale yellow colour with a thick, foamy head. Weak aroma of wheat, lemon and mandarin orange. Flavour of strong lemon juice, wheat, mandarin orange and cardboard. Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel. Dry, wheaty, lemony finish. Boring Hoegaarden copy.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2012 010811: Pale yellow color almost white with tiny bubbly head. Fruity aroma and fine clasic wittier taste. High carbonated. Not as fruity as many other wit beers..

11 ounce goblet - $9.00 at Taco Mac in Canton, Georgia.

Appearance: Displays an ever so slightly hazed, pale yellow body with a 1/2 inch of creamyish, cotton ball-white head.

Smell: Yields no more than a somewhat mild, anemic aroma, with all too transient notes of citrus rind, light malts, and spice.

Taste: Gentle union of pale malted barley and wheat with a sweetish touch of confectioners sugar. Light honeyesque taste. Dashes of ground coriander, maybe a bit of allspice. Low herbal qualities with a very low amount of bitterness present. Light lemon. Sweetish, lightly spicy finish with a snippet of eleventh-hour fizz.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-light carbonation.

Overall: Refreshing and pleasant; a competent albeit uneconomical Dutch wit.

Hade denna ljuvliga l till sill och potatis, vilket var en bra kombination. Doft som det ska vara, smak som det ska vara, och en krona som "aldrig" ville sjunka ihop. Snyggt!

Hazy, light yellow with medium head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, some citrus and fruit. Taste is pleasant but a bit light. Starts off somewhat sweet to turn into a slightly citric sourness with a very light bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is light, carbonation a tad too strong for my liking.
