Bottle. Brown with a medium head. Pleasant coffee flavour with chocolate in the background. For some reason I thought this might be a novelty beer but it turned out to be pleasant and easy to drink.

Dense foam but rapidly disappearing. Nice brown to dark red color. Fruity and caramel aroma. Taste of roasted malt with little sweetness. This is average beer with light taste, considering of increased amount of alcohol (4,4%).

kramer (6574) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2016
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is all malt, rather clean, some nice roast, cocoa, coffee, caramel and light licorice notes. The flavor is also pretty clean, nice smooth, well lagered finish. Just a light hint of hops towards the finish. A great mix of dark caramel, toasty and roasty malts. Medium bodied with a rather full rounded feel to it. Pretty good Dunkel. Wish it were a more frequently available style.
