Clear golden color, small white head. Nose is malty with some typical Czech butterness. Light-bodied, even suprisingly watery for 5.4%. Front is empty and watery, a bit metallc, then some sweetish maltyness followed by Saaz btterness in the finish. Clean and boring Bohemian pils.
500ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, HElsinki)MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2007
Doesn’t smell so clever, just a dry dusty pale pilsner aroma, not really standing out against a typical pale lager. Looks good though, it’s a fairly golden yellow, the head is very tight. Palate nice and full, shows some herbal bitterness before you’ve even swallowed. Some lactic aspects too. Full well-attenuated grainy body, dry, almost resiny bitterness. Good lager once you tasted it, shame it didn’t sell itself so well with the rather feeble aroma.
Draught at BBF07 as Konrad Premium Hell. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. Standard pils, quite clean, but ends with a little rough bitterness. Benzai (15606) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 2, 2011
Pretty standard yellow colored beer, average white head. Ok smell, taste malty and grainy. Decent pilsener, but not really special.
