330mL bottle from Beer Cartel RafeAU (628) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Deep copper body, slight haze, dense white head.
Nose is pretty intense - lots of hop resin, grassy, leafy, slightly vegetal - obviously lots of dry hopping. Cooked citrus, melon, wood, with toasty, nutty malts.
Full bodied, doesn’t feel as big as it is, reasonably lively carbonation.
Big malt caramel upfront, slightly nutty, then lots of hop - citrus rind, non-descript stonefruits and tropical fruits, leafy resiny. Big bitterness, juicy finish.
Solid IPA - packed full of flavour.
Dark brown pour with minimal head. Citrus and pine hop aroma, very solid bitterness, hops coming through. Medium high carbonation, full mouthfeel. Another nice Kooinda beer and certainly amongst the best of the Australian IPAs. LesArgen (383) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 21, 2015
Oh, wow! The citrus just leaps out of the glass as you, punching you in the face with pine needles and grapefruit as well as floral aromas and a hint of nougat. The taste gives you a hop explosion which dissipates all of the tongue, and you get a slight burning sensation in the throat from the alcohol. The only knock on it is that it’s a little thin. hawthorne00 (4153) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 25, 2015
Bottle. Dark amber with a beige head. Aroma of bread crusts, kumquats, mango, spices, pine. Citrus and pine, herbal notes, fairly high bitterness, resinous finish. But it’s the malt side of things that says these folks are back in town - rich but not oversweet layers of toffee, some toasty and biscuit flavours. And the bitter orange, spice and pine notes are complementary, melding with the malt and then lightening the load. Best beer I’ve had from Kooinda in a long time. varanid99 (1388) - AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2015
copper pour with decent off-white head. Big citrus, fruity aromas. Taste is toffee, citrus, quite bitter, long dry bitter finish

It has a big creamy head, very fruity aroma, really long bitter finish, has some brown ale flavours, nothing too stand out but very nice. Cunningham (8464) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 2, 2015

Aroma: Fresh citric hoppy and herbal.
Palate: Medium + body. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fine citric hoppy, some toffee, herbal and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Nice tasty IPA.
Personal stats: On tap at Crowbar in Oslo, Norway
On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Slightly hazy deep amber with a rather small, off-white head. Hoppy and slightly caramelly aroma with piney notes, mild citrus, malt, caramel and hints of spices. Feels too sweet and caramelly at first, but feel quite balanced in the end. Certainly a good deal of sweetness, but also a nice bitterness. Quite flavourful, but well balanced. Decent stuff! vinhol (346) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 24, 2014

Copper colour with decent clarity and low white head. Fairly faint hop aroma of grapefruit and passionfruit, as well as a slightly raisiny caramel malt character. Taste is moderate-highly bitter with decent malt balance as well as a slightly flowery/spicy hop taste which lingers in the finish.
