330ml bottle. Pours a deep dark blood red with minimal head. Aroma: cocoa, milk, dark chocolate, roasted malt, brown sugar. Taste: mild cocoa flavour. Roasted malts dominate. Syrupy texture. Unusually high carbonation for a porter. Unusually bitter for a porter. Mild creamy flavour. The aroma balance was far superior to the actual flavour of this brew. Was a bit disappointed by this brew, not much going on really. Maracuja05 (1280) - Mainz, GERMANY - SEP 5, 2016
[backlog] 13-02-15 / bottle at The Fitzroy Beer Garden, Melbourne. Flavours of chocolate, roasted coffee, milk sweetness. Slight bitter finsih. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.5/5 Patersoi (165) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 10, 2016
Pours black and cream with mud density head. Might have been an off batch for mine as there was a distinct fruitiness in both bouquet and flavour. Iunderlying flavours were on the mark with soft mouth feel and vanilla flavour. Hard to tell what it could have rated if it was an ok batch. RafeAU (629) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 13, 2015

Just on cool and into a snifter. Bright, cola brown in the shallows and black as midnight for the rest. Head holds at just a mere wafer, off-white and shiny. Fresh roasted coffee with a side of milk pretty much sums up the aroma but there is underlying hints of moss and cellar must, charred wood and mace. Quite dry, chalky and smooth in the finish. Body is good; not hefty but ample here. Quite malty, woody and chocolaty. Dark chocolate does dominate. Long finish, woody dry and dominated by more chocolate. Quite a nice brew. Easily downed, sessionable and balanced. Good stuff! (33cL, no date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot) mattyhennessy (376) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - JUN 5, 2014
330ml bottle. Black pour with a tan head. Strong mocha aroma, very sweet. Taste is initially sweet but rounded out with some cocoa bitterness. Quite hoppy also which gives a little fruit flavour. Medium carbonation and a light mouthfeel Jado (798) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAY 28, 2014
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a very deep brown to black with maybe a slight highlight at the edge and a cappuccino head. Aromas of black coffee, chocolate, smoke and a hint of dark fruit (prunes?). Taste is gentle fruit at the front but quickly overwhelmed by a roasted black coffee bitterness and a slightly acrid smoky note, slipping away to some cinnamon and nutmeg spice with cocoa powder and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with a spicy aftertaste. Good. vinhol (344) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 16, 2014
On tap the public brewery coffey aroma black colour tan head taste is coffey roasted malts very good porter Jade (435) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 22, 2014
Dark chocolate colour, almost black. Nice frothy head, a little unusual for the style. Chocolate coffee aroma. Almost an iced coffee texture, not as thick and string as most porters, but nice. Mocca after taste - nice, I like it.
