Bottle in Shokdra. Opaque brown color, tan head, fine lacing. Aroma of burnt caramel, like an imperial creme brullee. Taste is sweet, extra malty, sweet chocolate milk and sweet biscuits. Did I say it was sweet? Grumbo (2825) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2014
Bottle at the Rogner hotel, Tirana. Pours a deep red/brown colour with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and bread dough. Some roasting. Fairly sweet, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, sweet to finish. Better than average for area. slawek (253) - Kraków, POLAND - AUG 9, 2014
Bottle. Dark, clear body with reflections, small but long lasting head.
Aroma: Weak, sweet. Diacetyl with some plum.
Taste: Low sweetness with some sourness.
High carbonation, quite drinkable, quite refreshing. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 19, 2014
330 ml bottle. BB 27/05/15. From Albania. A big thank you to Mikko!Iznogud (3710) - CROATIA - JUL 6, 2014
Dark reddish brown colour with a mid-size foamy light tan head.
Bread, cigarette ash, malt, mild sweetness and some bitterness in the aroma. Not quite convincing. The flavour is a bit better with roasted malt, bitterness, sweetness, cigarette ash and some wort notes. Not very good.
Bottle 330 ml brought from Albania by a friend. Pours dark amber with off-white head. Malty sweet and caramel.

Interesting ... dark pils. Clear dark nut brown color, small brown head. Sweet worty industrial kalja-kali-kvass aroma; rye bread and sugars. Medium-bodied. Wort, sugars, rye bread, syrup. Funny how this also tastes like Estonian kali or Finnish kalja.
GFM; Pours dark amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet roasted malty, dark fruity and light hoppy. Taste is much the same, but sadly add wet and watery. Medium carbonated, nice bitter, with a short finish. A -almost and appriciated beer. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - SEP 7, 2013
(33 cl bottle from minimarket in Saranda; bbd: August 2nd 2014) Pours a clear, dark copper with ample, tan head. Good retention and beautiful lacework. Aroma is pleasantly malty without having too much caramel sweetness present. The predominant aroma notes are biscuity and nutty with perhaps a hint of something darker akin to roasted malt, licorice, aniseed or perhaps a graham cracker. Never the less a pleasantly refreshing beer. Oily texture, soft carbonation with medium to light body and a slightly sweet, biscuity finish. Flavour largely follows the nose and it has something distinctively Czech to it - I wonder if it could be Saaz hops, which shine in this beer that is only a month old? An unexpectedly pleasant surprise. jmgreenuk (9300) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 8, 2013
Bottle from a restaurant in Durres. Poured a dark chestnut brown with a big frothy off-white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a weak bitter, nutty flavour with a watery palate. Not the worst beer from Albania. MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2013
Bottle, 4.5%. Good malty aroma, roasted and bready, slightly vinous. Clear dark brown colour, perhaps chestnut. The flavour is citric at first, turning vinous and creamy. Does not taste entirely fresh, but it is not bad because of it. Late grainy finish.
