Bottle from supermarket in Ksmail. Pretty bland tmavy offering but at least some difference firm majority of stuff here. Quite stouty flavouring of smoked chocolate.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown beer with a medium sized, slightly off white head on top. Aroma of bready malts, hint of butter, toasted malts and not much else. Flavor is rahter sweet and malty with a watery palate and not the highest carbonation ever. Silky moutfheel, short sweet aftertaste. Decent dunkel, but nothing more.

I lived in Albania for five years, and Korca i zeze was by far my favorite local beer. Hard to come by though, not found in many places. Nevertheless, this has a great taste and always goes down smooth.

Kolor ciemnej herbaty. Klarowne. Piana obfita, średnio pęcherzykowa, beżowa. Ładnie koronkuje na szkle i bardzo długo się trzyma. W aromacie ciemne słody, nuta palonego karmelu. Nawet lekka nuta wędzona. Nisko wysycone, bardzo gładkie, niemalże kremowe w odczuciu. Niska goryczka, ale dość długa. Karmelowo-słodowa. Zostawia lekki kwaskowy posmak. Smakuje i pachnie jak typowy dunkel.

12 oz. bottle, pours a dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out stale bready malts / cardboard. Flavour is along the same lines, with cardboard and stale bready malts. Weak, watery and very much off. Very poor. But it’s an Albanian tick.

Bottle poured at the tasting. Thanks to luttonm again for the well traveled bottles. Cool tick. Dark amber pour with a heavy grain aroma. Stale hop like, and off putting. Grainy linger, with minimal roasted malt. Beer wasn’t as good as the idea of trying it.

Bottle - Light toast and sweetness. Deep brown with a decent beige head. Malty and sweet. Not much there but ok.

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - DEC 5, 2015
Bottle shared by lutton - thanks! Clear deep ruby, small ring of head. Thin body, toast and light chocolate, toffee, caramel. Super thin, chalky. Not bad (but also not all that much fun to drink a lot of if there are other options around).

biir (1309) - Berlin, - OCT 13, 2015
Many Albanians pretend that this is their best beer. Unusual, unround dark beer, with strong notes of coffee, dark malt and something like licorice. Cant really recommend it.

0,33l bottle in Tirana, dark mahogany colour, small beige head, the taste is overwhelmingly bitter, dry and very spicy with some caramel aromas.
