Dark red almost black color, medium creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, cocoa, coffee, wood. Taste has similar notes - sweet with light roasty bitterness and chocolate aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation, warming alcohol touch. Very nice porter, sweet and strong, just as I like.

Very dark brown color & clear with small, beige head (which is only flaw about this beer when it comes to its appearance) and poor lacing. Very rich and complex aroma. There are chocolate, malts, loads of dried plums & raisins, some woody and smoked notes and a pleasant hint of alcohol. Taste has mostly the same notes also its very well balanced. Carbonation is just perfect. Mouthfeel is really velvety. Despite high abv and complex aroma and taste its quite drinkable. Great baltic porter.

Butelka 0,5l Kolor ciemnobrązowy, piana mała, zbyt szybko opada zostawiając jednak ślady na szkle. Aromat kawy i śliwek suszonych, lekka czekolada. Smak suszonych śliwek, słodkie, gładkie na podniebieniu, rozgrzewające, takie portery lubię. Super piwo.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2016 W zapachu świeże owoce, zapiekany chlebek. W smaku pełne, znakomicie zbilansowane, goryczka, wytrawna czekolada, doskonale ukryty alkohol. Barwa ciemna, nieprzejrzysta. Update: warka do 08.10.2016 trochę zepsuta, zbyt słodka, zobaczymy z leżakującymi.

Date do 29/08/2016, seasoned one year in brewery, but it was sold like a standard edition with standard price. Pitch black, small brown head fastly disappearing. Great aroma, just like high class RIS - of course its high class baltic porter :) - dark chocolate and coffe aroma, hints of truffles and raisins. Rather balanced taste, maybe a little sweet. Maybe a little bit of liquor, but the beer is very mature. Taste is just like aroma, very complex. Full bodied, almost oily texture and soft carbonation, very well. This is the beer that won European Beer Star. One of the greatest baltic porters, definitely. Sadly got only one bottle.

Butelka trzy lata po terminie. Pięknie się ułożyło. Aromat jest cudowny, a składa się na niego intensywna śliwka, dobre jakości czekolada, mid gryczany, pumpernikiel. W smaku jeszcze bardziej spotęgowane ciemne, suszone owoce, czekolada i kawa. Rozgrzewające, przyjemne w ustach. Słodycz dobrze balansuje średnią w odczuciu goryczkę. Wysycenie średnie ku niskiemu, porter ma gładkie, kremowe ciało. Ocena wysoka, bo i to chyba mj ulubiony reprezentant stylu do 10 zł.

Great Baltic Porter. Aroma and taste as it should be. Great drinkability despite high abv.

almost black colour, minimal creamy darker beige head, which disappears fully within 1-2 minutes; aroma of dried plum, some raisins and dried sour cherry soaked in cognac, coffee, toast and dark chocolate; taste is the same with some syrupy, ash and herbal liqueur notes; definitely a masterpiece of the baltic porters!

Damn near perfect bp. Top stuff, meaty feintly autolysis aroma, but smooth right up there dark flavour. Walloping finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
