(Rating #620)

Ungstrup (37862) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 19, 2005
An unclear pale yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet and very lemony on a wheaty background, giving it a dry end. I can’t find the spices, that have gone into this one.

2.8
Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2005
Superb cloudy pale gold, thin white head. highly creamy nose, aromatic coriander taking perhaps a bit too much room. Plasticy, milky coriander taste with bitter, grainy citrusy finish. Not very flavorful. Highly carbonated, medium bodied.

3.2
tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 17, 2005
Strong melon, citrus and spice in the aroma. Opaque milky goden body is topped by a decent white head that recedes slowly to ring. Ginger, coriander spiciness floats atop a fair wheat malt base flavour. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.

3.5
Oakes (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 2, 2012 Cloudy yellow colour. Slight barnyard in the aroma along with wheat and a light apple note. Spicy/malty flavour profile with an acidic finish.
