pours a copper color with a nice big off white tannish fluffy head. aroma is a nice marzen, bisquit, malty aroma. flavor is the same as aroma with a some what dry aftertaste and a little stronger. a touch watered down but a nice octoberfest. has some nice lacing and overall not bad to celebrate my five year anniversary weekend on rb.
Taste: Crisp almost airy hop finish is balanced with bread, malt sweetness. Same with the nose. Deep amber in color, clear, with a tall foamy head and some lace. Medium body. A bit liter in mouthfeel that the Original Munich Oktoberfest. Shaney (2423) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2013
Dunkelgelbes Märzen mit reichlich Schaum. Malzaromatischer Antrunk, honigtönern und süßlich nach Biscuit. Floraler Hopfen im Abgang. Simpel, aber durchaus süffig! Leafs93 (2292) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Pours copper with a small off white head, quickly dissipated. Aroma is caramel, hay, cereal and nutty. Taste is sweet with toasted bitters, mostly sweet. Medium bodied, average carbonation, somewhat sticky. seanfitz (9) - - MAR 30, 2013 does not count
Tastes like a good session beer, it’s an oktoberfest beer so that’s the point. It’s orange.

50cl bottle @ home shared with dad. Slightly unclear yellow to orange-color, small to medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, a bit hay-ish and lightly some bitterness. Low to medium body and carbo.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Orange appearance with an off white head. Big grassy, straw, slightly toasty malty, light caramel aroma. Moderate caramel, toasty malty, thick grassy, hay flavor. Not all that bad, actually. arminjewell (9584) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Pour out of 500 mL bottle is clear red with thin off white head, aroma has notes of slight cardboard, slight grain, hints of cardboard, slight grassy notes. Taste is a mix of dark cherry, biscuit, caramel, hints of biscuit, grass, bits of slight vanilla and buttery biscuit, finishing fairly sweet. Fech (291) - Parsippany, New Jersey, USA - APR 8, 2012
Everything I want in an Oktoberfest. Hoppy yet not overpowering. Caramel toasted malts with a very slight spice. Lemke10 (980) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - APR 5, 2012
I got a 500mL bottle of this as a closeout deal at Woodman’s in Rockford, IL in early 2012 for $1.99.
Pours a cloudy, copper color with a slight head on it. The scent is mild with grassy grains and a slight bit of spices. Taste is malty but rather watery for an Oktoberfest beer. I found some spices in the taste but not as many as I was expecting. Good drinkability and decent taste but probably one of the weaker Marzen beers I have ever had before but seeing how it’s April, I won’t complain too much.

Pours a murky golden color with little head or retention. Nose is toffee candy malt and herb. First sip is herbal hop and light malts on a medium body. Mild cocoa and molasses and biscuit follow. Very palatable. Tasty Märzen.
