330ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, malts. Light body with soft carbonation. Light bittersweet taste with dry finish.

Bottle from Matsons in cork. Pours black with tan head. Earthy, toasty, roasted malts in the aroma. Spice, earthy, roasts, toast, coffee flavour with a hint of chocolate and smoke. It has a thicker texture than I expected. Nice beer with plenty malt flavours with earthy European hops in the background.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 On tap at Black Forest Inn German restaurant. Dark brown pour. Aroma is dark malts, yet sweet. Taste is sweet up front, dry and slightly ashy but delicious. Good stuff.

4-pack of 16 ounce cans. Really a lightweight Schwarzbier. The aroma is pretty good, but I'm getting little in the way of malts. Black in color but not in taste.

Often, these type of dark beers are either too malty, sweet or bitter, but this beer balances these flavors well. The bitterness comes as a slight aftertaste and does not linger. Quite pleasant.

Black (!) appearance - not much body. Mild liqorice aroma, bitter foretaste, sweeter after taste. Ok .

Bouteille de 50cl. Couleur brune, mousse moyenne de faible tenue. Arôme de mats torréfiés, le houblon apparaît en fin de bouche. Manque de personnalité. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à auchan
