Hazy honey, thin white head. Strongly grass, quite harsh aroma. Medium body, surprisingly bit sweetness...like licorice, evident carbonation, dry flavor and finish. Interesting bit salty licorice in flavor makes this worth tasting. tkrjukoff (4334) - SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2011
Tap @ Koulu. Pours clear pale golden with a small head. Fruity, hoppy, malty aroma. Flavor is malty, fruuty and well hopped. Finishes with a good longlived bitter aftertaste. laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 19, 2013

Aroma is very light with hay, fruits and grainy malt. Slightly contaminated feeling here. Flavour has hay, grainy malt and slight fruitiness. Also grassy hops, gooseberry bush and a slight feeling of contamination – which seems to be the house flavour of Koulu. Feels more like a kellerbier than pale lager. The best beer of Koulu so far in its style.
quite malty with lemon and lots of spices. cucumber maybe too. hazy pale yellow with a white head. Sarpa (1649) - FINLAND - NOV 19, 2016

Slightly hazy light orange. Slightly farty grainy aroma. Mild
hoppiness. Mostly soft creamy palate, but there’s sharp fizzy
carbonation which is a little harsh. Creamy aroma and taste. OK summer
beer, but lacking in guts. 5:3:5:3:10=2.6
Rerate: Summer 2010, where the cellar was warmer, so this was served
at a good temperature. 6:3:6:4:13=3.2
Bready, and honey too. Lovely and drinkable. Served at the right
temperature this has so much more flavour.
