Bottled. Fair aroma of decent dark beer with proper amount of coffee flavours. Dark-brown with some dark-amber appearance on light, brown head, not very stable foam, but looks good. Flavour of coffee and a bit of caramel. Maybe not one of the best tmavych piv, although is good enough, espicially for a bottled version. mithe (1781) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 14, 2013

From the tap at the Festival. Clear brown pour, white head. Aroma of toasted grain, quite roasty, coffee notes. Lots of coffee flavor, roast bitterness, caramel, toast. Seems a little halfway between a polotmavy and tmavy to me. Good.

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Very deep red brown color with huge long lasting beige head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, roasted malt, ripe dark fruit. Nice roastiness in taste, strong coffee, dark chocolate, hints of caramel. Dry bitter finish. Despite of fact, that I see it more as Schwarzbier than Dunkel, it’s nice beer. ganache (5909) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Draught at the 16th BBF. Dark blak with mahogany highlights and a tan head. Very sweet and sugary taste with hard roast and a nice balance, seems like a little aspartame but things even out. Light-medium body.
