Tap at Brewdog Berlin - 8.8.% abv. - dark brown color, white head. great, silk like palate, fine carbonation, creamy head. notes of roasted malts, coffee, toffee. Bit unusual for a Doppelbock, reminds me of a Stout. very drinkable, alcohol well hidden. great one. jonno (2911) - JAPAN - AUG 20, 2017
Not right here - it was drinkable but thin an a little pedestrian for such a big beer. File in the dissapointment category. MiP (15972) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2017
Draught at KØ17. Mild fruity aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small light brown colour. Mild malty flavour. Some alcohol but not boozy. And not too sweet either. Clean and well-balanced. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2017

tohle je top, nejlepsi tmavy pivo, co znam, skoro jako irish stout, ale lip pitelnej, czech it out! biirusaikou (2705) - - FEB 10, 2016
Bottle shared, thanks Jonno. Quite odd, this feels like grape juice with a candy edge, nothing like a doppelbock, quite boozy with sour notes... Not sure if that’s what it was meant to taste but this is a weird one in a suspicious way... willisread (3640) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 31, 2016
Bottle shared at a tasting. Thanks Jonno! Fudge and chocolate nose with some green apple aromas. Body is super thin with some light caramel. Hides the booze fairly well even with the thin body somehow. Enjoyed it more as it warmed. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 31, 2016
Bottle. Thanks Jonno. Aroma is plastic, bit vinous, fruity. Taste is sweet, fruity, sugary, hint of sourness. Boozy. Black treacle.

Pours dark brown, bit of beige foam. Aroma has some green apple, that’s pretty much it. Taste is also surprisingly easy-drinking, has bread, black bread pudding, some sour notes in there. Feels thin but definitely not as I would expect a double bock to taste. Not completely bad, just missing most of its malty and sweet nature as I would expect it to have according to the style. Still, for this abv, drinks surprisingly well. Dangerous.
