i tried it as Kovar Světlé Výčepní 10°... the aroma is malty and herbal with shades of grain and hop... the taste is rather clear and refreshening, malty with notes of flowers, grasses and grain and smooth hoppy bitterness... dry and bitter aftertaste... satanda (439) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 22, 2012
Úplně standardní levné pivo. Sice neurazí, ale většina lahváčů je holt lepších. Kupodivu není vyráběné v Unicornu, ale v pardubickým Pernštejnu. swooper (1247) - Cambridge and Kladno(Czech Rep.), Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2010

Bottle from Pivonka, Hradec Kralove. Pours clear golden with a big fluffy white head. Weak malty aroma. Taste is light malty with a nice citrus hops touch. Nice taste and mouthfeel for such a weak beer. My kind of summer beer

Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grass, yeast, some grains and mild earthy notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same as the aroma was. Actually not bad at all for being only 3.5%.
Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Light hop aroma. Dry and light with mild spicy hops. Fresh and very drinkable, medium bitterness. An easy going low gravity pils with enough subtsance to make it enjoyable. Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2008
bottle, bought at the brewery. Kovár means blacksmith. This is a svetle vycepni pivo with only 3.5% ABV. Clear golden yellow colour, medium-size head. Faint aroma of malt with a touch of fruit. Thin-bodied, malty and slightly hoppy, with a tiny touch of fruit and a very shy sweetness. A thirst-quenching vycepni pivo.
