Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2011
Bottle: Medium airy (light) beige head on top of a ruby colored beer. Smell honey, sweets, molasses, sticky malts (lightly toasted), and a hint of oatmeal. Taste is a mix of some light sweets like molasses & toasted sticky malts with a medium bitterness, some dark fruits and some herbs. Taste is much like the smell Light bitter and lightly sweet from dark fruits (raisin and prunes) aftertaste. Low carbo, low to medium body, soft light creamy mouthfeel and a light creamy texture.

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2011
Bottle, 50 cl: Clear dark brown beer with a frothy, long lasting, light brown head. Aroma is sweet and bready malty with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet with very soft non-distinct hops. Soft mouthfeel, moderate body and watery texture. Easy drinkable but too lightly hopped to be interesting.

petexner (935) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 21, 2011
On tap in Velka Upa. The most common black beer in CZ. Not bad but nothing special either. Sweet tones, mild palate, nice color.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 18, 2011
Can and bottle. Clear but decently dark golden-brown. Has sweet bready malts throughout and a thin but quaffable palate. Veers towards sweetness and could cloy in quantity but is overall quite drinkable.

crispi (107) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 13, 2011
not bad. pours dark clear brown, with tan head. aroma of nuts, coffee and caramel. some sweetness, and balanced with bitterness. not much mouthfeel - a little thin if anything. still could be a session beer, due to its %.

I guess I’m not a dunkel guy, but drinking this out of a can while stumbling across prague was a less than enjoyable experience. Unpleasantly sweet, with some burnt brown sugar and cheap maple syrup.

Bottle in Moscow I believe. Dark and malty. Kind of sweet. Not bad overall.
