Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, nuts, caramel, chocolate notes. Taste is raosted malt, chocolate, caramel, some grassy hop bitterness. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, dry finish. 200911

BarossaLuke (552) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2011
A reasonable dark lager style beer. Nothing that interesting about it, has some good malt flavours but is a little thin on the palate. Good bitterness, lighter side of the Dunkel style for me.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2011
Bottle: Medium airy (light) beige head on top of a ruby colored beer. Smell honey, sweets, molasses, sticky malts (lightly toasted), and a hint of oatmeal. Taste is a mix of some light sweets like molasses & toasted sticky malts with a medium bitterness, some dark fruits and some herbs. Taste is much like the smell Light bitter and lightly sweet from dark fruits (raisin and prunes) aftertaste. Low carbo, low to medium body, soft light creamy mouthfeel and a light creamy texture.

chrisv10 (17936) - DENMARK - SEP 9, 2011

bax (1311) - Hasselager, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2011
(Bottle 01/09-2011) Low beige head, clear brown/red color, sweet aroma, caramel taste, fit body.

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2011
Bottle, 50 cl: Clear dark brown beer with a frothy, long lasting, light brown head. Aroma is sweet and bready malty with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet with very soft non-distinct hops. Soft mouthfeel, moderate body and watery texture. Easy drinkable but too lightly hopped to be interesting.

petexner (936) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 21, 2011
On tap in Velka Upa. The most common black beer in CZ. Not bad but nothing special either. Sweet tones, mild palate, nice color.
