Bottle. Pours a dark ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel chocolate aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel chocolate flavor. Roasted malty caramel finish with weak hints of chocolate in the aftertaste. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Dark with the typical reddish hue, but - again - this has been added artificial colouring. Light in body but the sweetish caramel-like maltines combined with soft hops makes this a pleasant beer to drink. I’ve had this in versions named "Tmavý" or "Cerný", but it’s all the same "tmavé výcepni pivo. omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2008

Can in Chisinau, Moldova. Dark maroon color, small tan head. Aroma of subtle burnt coffee. Taste is weak and dilute coffee and caramel. Leighton (21083) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2008
Dark, rich brown color. Slight head, light brown in color. Quite sweet with hints of chocolate and caramel (maybe even a little coffee or something). Sweet, malty flavor. Unfortunately, tonight is my last night in Prague so I probably won’t get to try one of these again for a while. Perhaps I’ll have one tomorrow morning before my flight. That sounds like a great idea.
