King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 14, 2016
Dark brown-red color with foam ring. Caramel sugary and malty nose. Sweet thickish caramel bread taste with fitting present carbonation and mild light roasted aromas. Sweetish and light roasty aftertaste.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - JUN 28, 2008
Canned. Dark, reddish brown liquid and blond beige head. Malty aroma is slightly roasted and has rye bread. Some hops in the finish. Flavor is sweet syrupy turning to a bit sour and bitter in the finish. Smooth but somewhat watery mouthfeel. Light bodied and too heavily carbonated. Easy to drink, but very simple and boring. Anyway, this was the beer that made me taste many more.

Canned, 50 cl. Pours dark but clear and red beer. Forms a nice beige head. Aroma: Malt, small feeling of smoke and soil. Taste: Lightly sweet and bitter. Little metallic. Palate: Light bodied beer with sticky and thin texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish.

mikkopen (1192) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 29, 2008
500 ml bottle. Dark reddish brown colour, small light brown head. Aroma of sweet dark bread and roasted malts. The flavour is also sweet, with some roasted malts and a lightly bitter finish. I used to think this is an excellent beer, but now I find it merely OK..

bobroman (1186) - Torun, POLAND - JUL 1, 2014
Pleasant caramel and some hoppy bitterness in aroma. Head disappearing to thin layer. Clear black colour. Intensive malty sweetness in taste. Watery and not very exciting.

Bygers (1185) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 23, 2012
50ml bottle. The aroma gives you both chocolate, caramel, citrus and coffee. Taste is much of the same, without the citrus. Not a world class beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.5
cheeta (1181) - Langå, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2010
Moderate hoppy and chocolate aroma. Huge, frothy, off-white head. Excellent lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear, amber body. Moderate sweet flavor. Medium palate.
