Blom (837) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2010
Brown with a fine grey head. The aroma is malt dominated with notes of roasted malts and caffe latte. The flavour is both refreshing and complex at the same time: cold caffe latte notes dominate. Excellent.

W aromacie karmel, nuty palone i cukrowa słodycz. Piwo barwy ciemnobrunatnej z szybko opadającą pianą. W smaku głównie karmelowe, wodniste, nic specjalnego.

azzie (822) - Pula, CROATIA - AUG 28, 2014
Can 0.5 l, from Interspar (Ljubljana). Clear dark brown with a touch of red color liquid. Average tan head. Body light to medium, medium to high carbonation. Light sweetness and bitterness. Aroma of coffee and caramel. Watery, drinkable and not bad but too carbonated for my taste.

Nice head and good lace. Good clear brown color. Very smooth and nice. Good level of sweetness and not much bitterness. Pleasant and subtle sweet aftertaste. I liked this!

Dark in colour with taned long lasting head. Carmel and chocolate tones with hops. Watery...but still ok.

beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 27, 2005
On tap at the Pilsner Urquell restaurant, Stare Mesto, Prague. Pretty delicious but standard taste for the dunkel variety. Went well with the beef goulash with bread and potato-and-bacon pancakes I had with it. Nice place.

cervmagpt (809) - PORTUGAL - AUG 4, 2015
Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 3D). Bottle 50 cl - Batch L5174 18:10. AROMA: slight sweet bread crust aroma with faint notes of caramel and some cereal (rice, corn). no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: dark ruby color and translucent. moderate-low tanned head with below average retention. TASTE: very dilluted caramel and roasted notes with a slight sweet background. low bitterness with a sweet finish. PALATE: thin body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a very poor czech dark lager.

Dark brown but clear beer with a beige head. Dark bread and syrup on the nose. Thin body. Some caramel and roastiness in the flavors. Decent.

mattphilips (801) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 14, 2011
