Darl golden, nice head. Has a sweet and fruity aroma from peaches. Creamy flavor, but a little watery and thin.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2005 Herlig mørk øl med flot aroma og flot vedvarende skum. Har et strejf af karamel, men er trodsalt lidt vandig

Nice bottle from a supermarket in Prague: the foil is gold, but burnished black at the tip. Nice Dunkel brown, with a bubbly head and a slightly rooty aroma. Medium beer. Nice, but thin choc flavour, finishing with a soured tip, even suggesting extra alcohol. This is very sweet, but pretty smooth, with some taste.

[on tap somewhere in the Czech Republic] Clear, ruby-brown with good lacing and a creamy cover. Plenty of diacetyl butterscotch in the aroma with some caramel and a hint of noble hops. The flavour is of sweet caramel plus diacetyl with strawberry/kiwi notes. Quite sweet with no bitterness. Maybe a little raisiny and brown ale-like. Medium body and very low carbonation with a clean finish.

Bottle. Dark with a fast disappearing head. Light malty, slighty fruity aroma. Short finish. Not much for hops. Refreshing

500ml bottle. Large initial head, dark brown appearance. Toasty malt aroma. Smooth, nutty, chocolate tastes. Very sweet, also too much so. Slightly unpleasant after taste.

pivnizub (10666) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2006
Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, creamy tanned head, slowly diminishing to a small stable foamy layer; sweet-malty, toasted-malty nose; sweet-caramelly flavour, light bodied, soft MF; toasted, caramelly finish with a small chocolatey bitterness in the end. Hearty, easily drinkable Dunkel, a bit on the sweet side....

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2009 From tap: a little roasty, pretty sweet, nice maltyness, mainly caramel, some wet wood, some rye(?), dry finish, pretty stale and weak tasting, not impressive.
