A beutiful dark red colored beer. With a good taste of the sweetness of the malt. A good and very drinkable beer.

Beautiful dark colour with good head. Although this beer is very mild and slightly thin because of the low alcohol content it has many nice aroma and flavour notes. It is quite caramelly and malty.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2005 Dark brown. Medium sized, short-lived head. Malty nose with chocolate and roast caramel. Feels and tastes weak, which of course isn’t a lie, but it does so in a very pleasant way. I can imagine why Czech dissidents would sit up all night discussing politics with this kind of beer.

Draught at The Rover, Gothenburg. Dark brown with a beautiful head. Toffee-aroma. A bit thin with a short flavour from toffee and chocolate.

sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 23, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2005 (Canned) Darkish ruby brown with a lasting head. Mild, sweetish, burned-malty and slightly nutty aroma. Quite sweet, burned-malty, slightly toffeeish flavor. Some carbonated bitterness in the finish. Light to medium-bodied, quite thin palate with lemonadey carbonation. Well, at least the canned stuff is similar to bottled. Too thin, too sweet. (Bottled) Deep, dark walnut/red color with a thick and creamy, mostly vanishing, off-white head. Slightly nutty and roasted, earthy and sweetish aroma. Flavor starts off dry and burned, but turns into sweet and sugary-malty towards the end. Slight bitterness in the short finish. Sweetish, roasty aftertaste. Light to medium-bodied, slicky, quite thin and lemonade-like carbonated palate. A very easily drinkable, sweetish and thin, but decent-quality dunkel.

Bottle. Dark brown with nice head. Sweet, toffee, balancing bittermess in the finish.

Dark copper, long lasting white head, laces nicely. Caramel and metallic smell. Palate without any edges or graininess to it maybe a touch thin for my taste. Flavour fairly simple roasted malts.

Nice dark colour, with a white head that disappears a bit to early. A bit to light, a stronger beer would perhaps make a better overall finish.
