COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Can. Clear, dark gold with a big, frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, slightly toasty, floral hops, grass, light tobacco notes, hay, slightly bready. Taste is lightly sweet, turns lightly bitter. Lean medium body with lively carbonation, and a bittersweet finish, reminiscent of buttery toffees, grains.
Strong presence of malt all the way through, spiced up with floral hops. Pretty intense for a Czech Pilsner, toasty and slightly sweet. Liked it.

Does not stand up to the great Czech pilsners, has a rather macro taste and character

Enjoyed: On tap (Flumen Pub). Appearance: Clear dark golden colour, with rich foam. Aroma: Hint of malt; usual lager. Palate: Watery (but not sparsely), light carbonation. Taste: Bread; Light bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Light, drinkable. Quite ok, but I expected more.

Deilig floral bitterhet i ettersmaken.

500ml bottle into shaker. Doughy sweet malt nose with a little pepper. Clear yellow amber beer with a few derisory bubbles and a tiny collar of suds. Oh dear..... Slight tingle on the tongue, medium body. Tinny bitterness then a swamp water grainy sweetness takes over and lingers. Very poor, avoid if possible.

Copenhagen 13/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. The characteristic drawing of a goat trying to drink beer on the label. Looks kind of clumsy trying to hold the beer glass between it’s forelegs. But it gets points for trying. Pours clear yellow with small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is malty with some sour notes and a hint of butter. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly more distinct bitterness. Not anything overwhelming but a little bitter edge. Not fanttastic - but a nice beer for your lunch.

Aromat: karton, estry i trochę słodu Wygląd: barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, nietrwała, opada do cienkiej warstwy, nawet ładnie zdobi szkło Smak: lekko słodkie, wodniste, słodowe, karton również w smaku, goryczka niska, ale przyjemna Podniebienie: nagazowanie i pełnia średnie, pijalne

2.2
Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 1, 2016
Bright golden color with a moderate amount of activity. Slightly frothy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 to 10 minutes, with average legs. Aromas of sweet grains and corn with a faint floral feel. Flavors of sweet malt with corn, slight lemon, a hint of caramel, and some herbal spices. Bready and grassy. Lots of sugar. Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Light and short sugary finish, ending with a pleasant lingering feel of noble spices. Overall below average in quality being too faint and slightly stale, overly sugary and missing some sharpness.
