COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad
This beer is also brewed at "Plzensky Prazdroj (SABMiller)" in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Bottle at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Gold, large white head. Yeasty aroma. Sweet, gentle taste. Smooth, oily mouthfeel. Little bitterness. Very easy drinking. This is popular with the younger generation, who seem to prefer it to cask ales.

Golden with a small but creamy head. The aroma has pleasantly malty notes and so does the slightly sweet flavour, that also has notes of caramel and floral hops. The bitterness isn’t very pronounced, but it’s refreshing.

Perfectly clear golden pour with way too much bubbly white head. Scent of hops, grass, and a touch of malts. Taste is oily, sticks to the tonge. A lot of hops, some nuts, quite a bit of bitterness. Not very easy drinking due to the thickness of the taste. The bitterness lingers far too long. To me this is just another generic Euro Pils though near the top of the list for Euro Pils crap.

Can. Gold with an intriguing red/brown infusion. Sugar-water nose is actually misleading, as the flavour boasts a decidedly bitter flavour. Nice refreshment-factor and clean palate. A good, though basic, summertime lager.

0,5L can. Strong malty aroma. Golden color with white head. Hoppy bitter flavor, but feel metallic taste of can. Strong long aftertaste.

Draught @ Black Bull, Hradcany. Light gold w/ impressive head, mild fruity nose, sweet candy body, very smooth and quaffable, light finish, barest herbal bitterness in finish. Rather refreshing after a long hike up the hill.

slimchill (1044) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2007
Draught. Sweet grassy nose. Clear golden with a big head leaving some serious lacing. Very assertive flavor, dry but clean straw/malt taste. Really nice palate, sharp but not abrasive.

0.5l can. Pours a hazy golden brown with a small, persistent head. Lots of carbonation. Faint aroma - smells like a pilsener. Light palate, very smooth, but very fizzy. Initial taste is very bitter. Quickly becomes more flavourful. One of the better pilseners I have tried.
