Bottle. Pours a pale straw colour. Aroma. aroma of some sweet malts. Taste. I can taste a flavour i can best describe as a cross between lemon and rockmelon and also some other sweet flavours. Overall. Standard beer nothing too special, good for a few.

Clear golden, white frothy head. Clean pilsner malts and spicy hops on aroma. Light to medium body. Crisp taste with solid Saaz bitterness. Good one

Keg at the Counting House, Eastborune. Hugely tinny lager and not particularly smooth either. Had it better before elsewhere.

Better than the standard light lager, so good for the style. Just not my cup of tea. They deserve relatively high grades within the style.

I’ve had this a hundred times and only now found our I have forgotten to rate it! Yellow-red body, big white head. Aroma of hops, paper. The taste is fresh with some malt in the finish. Refreshing and neat.

Can. Clear, dark gold with a big, frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, slightly toasty, floral hops, grass, light tobacco notes, hay, slightly bready. Taste is lightly sweet, turns lightly bitter. Lean medium body with lively carbonation, and a bittersweet finish, reminiscent of buttery toffees, grains.
Strong presence of malt all the way through, spiced up with floral hops. Pretty intense for a Czech Pilsner, toasty and slightly sweet. Liked it.
