Bottle 0,5l from supermarket in Trier. Golden hazy body, medium white head. Nice aroma of apples, wheat, vanilla, hint of banana. Taste is a bit sweet and sour, unfortunately almost neutral to insipid. Medium body and carbonation.
Disappointing (but on other way – not really bad one).
Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this 0,5l bottle. Best before 19.03.2015. The beer starts nice yeasty-smooth, slightly sweetish, fresh. The yeasty flavour is quite intense, sweetish-fruity with hints of banana, not much clove. Very mild and smooth without any bitterness. For me a bit too sweet, but nice and round! Bottle from trade with Beerhunter111, many thanks. Hazy orange golden color with huge white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, oranges, clove. Taste, wheat, oranges, banana, clove. Little bit more sour fruity than other Wezen beers, but definitely enjoyable beer. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - NOV 9, 2014
Amber colour with a frothy dark white head. Noses mainly of banana and clove with a hint of peach/apricot. Light effervescent and full bodied. Rather sweet malted juicy center. Finish is long. Alengrin (5722) - BELGIUM - AUG 21, 2014
Small-scale Hefeweizen from a brewpub near Trier. Rocky, dense, yellowish white, impressive head, colour straw blonde, cloudy, bit greenish hue, vivid sparkling. Pure sweet pale malts and sourish wheat malts in the nose, delicate, fresh citrus touch, light impressions of young cheese, vanilla, freshly cut grass and dough. Soft but fresh sourish onset, citrussy, appetizing, volatile vanilla touch, then becoming doughy and a bit nutty, full and sweetish, fluffy mouthfeel, brief grassy hop bitterishness in the finish with light spicy notes. Light example of the style but I found this very appetizing and refreshing, the low scores here surprise me a bit. Zwiebel88 (637) - GERMANY - MAY 18, 2014
Bananig-würziges Aroma, typischer Weizenlook. bananig, malzig am Gaumen. Sehr erfrischend. Standardmäßiges, aber gut gemachtes Weizenbier. Top!
