motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 20, 2007
on tap at modry abbe in klatovy and at the krakonos brewery tap in trutnov. honeyish colour, faint haze, steady vanilla cake dough head. a doughy aroma with hints of bread yeast, freshly-mown grass, pineapple lifesavers. reminded me a lot of windischeschenbacher zoigl, a bit minty, plenty of saazy bitterness as expected of krakonos. extremely drinkable, i thought i’d just taken a couple of sips while writing my notes and then realised that my half litre had disappeared. i enjoyed this more at modry abbe than at the brewery tap, surprising considering that czech beer rarely travels well

Draught at the brewery’s hotel restaurant. Hazy golden colour. Nice big stable white head. The flavour is mildly fruity. Low to medium bitterness, mild and clean. Also a subtle yeast flavour which makes it nice and round. Not as flavourful as hoped, but good.

Russo (2011) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2014
Golden color with a nice lasting white head. Aroma is sweet with hints of oak, hoppy, malty and grass. Flavor is hoppy with hints of bread, yeast and malt. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

Aroma; bread, grass, toffee, butter, caramel, malts, yeast, hops. Look; gold golden body with a slight mist, moderate off white head. Taste; bread, grass, toffee, butter on the bread, caramel, malts, yeast, hops - and finishes with the hops becoming stronger. Feel; good body, natural co2. Overall; classic tank twelv’er, a tad too much yeast maybe. [50cl [email protected]š Trutnóv 6474-14]

Courtesy of ruprecht_007, huge thanx!!!
Pours golden yellow, slight cloudy, with flat white head. Smells lovely hoppy, slight yeasty-sweet and grainy. Starts hoppy bitter and very yeasty, with some fruity tartness in background. Middle part is very fruity-tart on the tongue, paired with lots of yeast and some aroma hops. Goes into a yeasty-grainy finish with lots of fruity tartness.

Pite w restauracji przy browarze. Mętne, złote piwo o obfitej, gęstej pianie. W aromacie chmielowo-słodowe. W smaku dosyć delikatne o średniej goryczce. Dosyć pełne.
