rbesg07 grand tasting, bottled. quite a decent mead - not as sweet as a lot of czech examples, some menthol bitterness giving it a nice finish Ungstrup (37679) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 6, 2008
Bottled at RBESG 2007. A dark brown mead with no head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy and flowery. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, spices, and flowers. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2007
Still deep brown pour. Highly herbal, spicy, molasses-like offering. Biscuity palate is quite dark. It gains in complexity through the use of spices, cinnamon and cloves apparently and assumingly others. Less focused on honey thickness than Polish examples, but quite as good, warming and intriguing drink that I would love to try mulled. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2007
Bottled at RBESG ’07. Dark amber, Spicy cinnamon aroma. Sweet with Becherovka-like spices being dominant. There’s honey and gingersnaps. Fruity, caramelly and warming. Never tasted anything lie it before, but it’s quite pleasant. cgarvieuk (24536) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 2, 2007

Bottle, RBESG Grand Tasting 07. Amber. Spiced menthol fruity. Quite sweet, but not overly so, honey and some fruit. Aniseedy tones, cinnamon, and quite drinkable. Bit over-aniseedy, but I enjoyed this. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2007
(RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Amber color, no head. Sweet spicy aroma with some cinnamon. Spicy flavor, very sweet, cinamon notes, but also other spices.
